Why Share My Story Now?

As my triplets celebrate their second birthday, I’m taking a moment to look back at the extraordinary journey of the past three years. My story started in fall 2022 when I bravely embraced the path of single motherhood by choice—a decision that marked the beginning of a wild, deeply rewarding ride.

I always dreamed of being a parent to at least one child, so finding out I was expecting triplets came with a mix of excitement, joy, and moments of fear. In 2023, there were only 2,505 triplet births in the US, making us part of a small, special club.

The Single Mother by Choice Journey

The growing trend of single mothers by choice is reshaping modern parenthood. Today, between 54%-78% of fertility clinic clients are single women, most in their late 30s to mid-40s. According to Pew Research, 78% of Americans believe single parenting is acceptable, reflecting shifting societal norms.

Choosing this path brought both challenges and joys. Some days felt overwhelming, but the love and support of friends and family made all the difference. I learned valuable lessons in resilience, planning, and self-care—key ingredients for thriving as a solo parent of multiples.

Tips, Tricks & Parenting Strategies

Over these years, I’ve collected research-backed strategies and practical tips for raising multiples:

  • Prioritize routines—triplets thrive on predictable schedules.

  • Embrace support: accept help from loved ones and trusted caregivers.

  • Connect with other parents of multiples, online and locally.

  • Evaluate resources from authoritative organizations like the CDC for the latest on child development and safety.

  • Take time for your mental health and well-being.

I’m committed to sharing not just stories, but also useful, trusted information. This blog is designed with practical strategies to help other parents—and caregivers—find the support they need:
